Welcome to RedTulip.io, a digital marketplace operated by RedTulip AI Corp. ("RedTulip," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and RedTulip governing your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Platform").
RedTulip connects travelers ("Seekers") with verified locals ("Keepers") for authentic in-destination experiences, services, and assets. The Platform acts solely as an intermediary. We do not own, create, sell, or control any listings, services, or experiences offered by Keepers. We are not a party to any agreement between Seekers and Keepers, nor do we act as an agent, broker, or insurer for any user.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the Platform immediately. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, discontinue use and contact us to delete your account.
Visitor: Any individual who accesses the Platform without a registered account.
User: Any individual who has registered an account, whether as a Seeker or Keeper.
Seeker: A registered user who searches for, requests, and books listings.
Keeper: A registered user who creates listings to offer services, experiences, or assets.
Listing: Any service, asset, event, or bundled offering published by a Keeper for Seekers to view and book.
Booking: A confirmed engagement of a listing, finalized when the Seeker completes payment and the Keeper accepts.
Verified User: A Seeker or Keeper who has completed the Platform's identity verification process.
Content: All information, text, images, videos, reviews, and materials uploaded or shared by users.
Transaction: The full lifecycle of a booking from request through completion, including payment and service delivery.
To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements. You must use the Platform in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Keepers must also comply with all local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements applicable to the services or experiences they offer. In jurisdictions that require it, Keepers may need to provide additional government-issued identification during verification.
You may not use the Platform if you have been previously banned, are on any government sanctions or restricted parties list, or are using the Platform for unlawful purposes. RedTulip reserves the right to deny access at its sole discretion.
To access most Platform features, you must register an account by providing a valid mobile phone number (verified via one-time password), your name, display name, email address, date of birth, and languages spoken. All users register as Seekers by default. Users who wish to offer services may opt to become Keepers, which may require additional information.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Each user may hold only one account. Accounts are non-transferable.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity, with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy; certain non-identifiable records (such as anonymized reviews or transaction history) may be retained for compliance purposes.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purposes. You agree not to use the Platform to create fake accounts, listings, or bookings; advertise unrelated third-party services; post harmful, obscene, or illegal content; or interfere with the Platform's infrastructure or other users' access.
Seekers must provide accurate booking details, complete payment on time, comply with listing terms and cancellation policies, treat Keepers with respect, and leave honest reviews based on genuine experiences.
Keepers must ensure listings are accurate and current, respond to booking requests promptly, honor confirmed bookings, comply with local laws (including permits and tax obligations), and provide a safe, respectful environment for Seekers.
All users must protect their account security, report violations, respect other users' privacy, and refrain from actions that damage the Platform's integrity. RedTulip may take corrective action, including suspension or termination, against users who violate these responsibilities.
Keepers must provide a descriptive title, detailed description, at least one image, category, rate type, pricing, availability, and cancellation policy for each listing. Listings must comply with all applicable laws and Platform guidelines. Keepers may not list illegal, harmful, or fraudulent offerings. Keepers must keep listings updated and accurate.
Seekers submit booking requests specifying date, time, number of participants, and any special requirements. A request does not guarantee availability. The Keeper must accept or reject the request promptly. A booking is confirmed only after the Seeker completes payment and the Keeper accepts.
By Seekers: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the booking start time are eligible for a full refund. Keepers may extend (but not shorten) the non-refundable window, as stated in their listing. Last-minute cancellations within the non-refundable window are not refunded unless the Keeper's policy allows it.
By Keepers: Keepers may cancel at any time but must provide a reason. The Seeker will receive a 100% refund regardless of the listing's cancellation policy. Repeated cancellations may result in penalties or suspension.
No-Shows: Seeker no-shows forfeit the booking amount. Keeper no-shows result in a full refund to the Seeker and may negatively affect the Keeper's reputation.
Users should first attempt to resolve disputes through the Platform's messaging system. If unsuccessful, either party may request mediation from RedTulip. We will review evidence and provide a non-binding recommendation. If mediation fails, users may pursue remedies under applicable law.
RedTulip charges Seekers a 30% service fee on each booking, calculated on top of the Keeper's listed price. This fee is clearly displayed at checkout before payment is confirmed. Keepers receive 100% of their listed price.
Applicable taxes are calculated and added to the total at checkout. Tax rates are determined by the jurisdiction where the service takes place. For example, Hawaii applies a General Excise Tax (GET) of approximately 4.712%, and Bahrain applies a 10% Value Added Tax (VAT). Keepers are solely responsible for their own income tax reporting and compliance.
All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We accept major credit and debit cards and supported digital wallets where available. All payments are made in the local currency of the listing unless otherwise specified. Transactions may incur processing fees from the payment provider, which are included in the total cost.
Keeper payouts are subject to a seven (7) day holding period after the booking is marked completed. Payouts are processed on the 1st and 15th of each month to the bank account or payment method specified by the Keeper. RedTulip is not liable for delays caused by incorrect payout information.
Refunds follow the cancellation policies described in Section 6.3. Refunds are returned to the Seeker's original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to process. Any disputes about refunds must be reported within 30 days of the transaction.
If a Seeker initiates a chargeback with their payment provider, RedTulip will investigate and provide supporting documentation. Users are responsible for resolving disputes directly with their payment provider.
RedTulip offers an optional identity verification process to enhance trust and safety. Verification involves uploading a government-issued ID and completing a liveness check through our third-party verification partner. Certain features (such as creating listings) may be restricted to Verified Users.
RedTulip does not store your ID documents, biometric data, or verification images. Our verification partner processes this data and returns only a pass/fail result and the issuing country, region, or state of the ID. We retain only the verification status and issuing jurisdiction on your account.
Verified status does not guarantee the behavior, reliability, or legality of a user's offerings. Users should exercise their own judgment when interacting with others on the Platform.
All user-generated content (listings, reviews, messages, photos, profile information) must be accurate, truthful, and lawful. The following content is prohibited: violent, dangerous, or illegal material; hate speech or harassment; sexually explicit content; fraudulent or misleading listings; fake reviews; impersonation of others; spam or unsolicited advertising; and sharing others' private information without consent.
RedTulip may monitor, review, and remove content that violates these guidelines without prior notice. Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or termination, and illegal content may be reported to authorities.
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant RedTulip a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it for Platform operations. You agree to indemnify RedTulip from claims arising from your content.
RedTulip is an intermediary. We make no guarantees regarding the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any listing or service. We are not liable for disputes between users, user conduct, listing inaccuracies, third-party service failures, technical issues, or force majeure events.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedTulip's total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the total fees collected by RedTulip from you in the six (6) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RedTulip, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Platform, your interactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms.
RedTulip may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, security threats, repeated complaints, or prolonged inactivity (12+ months). We will notify you of the action and reason via email or in-app notification, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Platform or users.
You may appeal a suspension or termination by submitting a written request to hello@redtulip.io within 14 calendar days. Appeals are reviewed within 14 business days. Accounts permanently terminated for severe violations (fraud, illegal activity, repeated misconduct) are not eligible for reinstatement.
Terminated users remain responsible for fulfilling obligations related to confirmed bookings. Pending payouts or refunds will be processed per the Payment Terms unless prohibited by the nature of the termination.
All parties are encouraged to resolve disputes in good faith before seeking formal remedies. For disputes between users, use the Platform's messaging system first, then escalate to RedTulip support if needed. We will review evidence and provide a non-binding recommendation.
For disputes between you and RedTulip, submit a complaint to hello@redtulip.io with a detailed explanation and supporting evidence. We will investigate and respond within 14 business days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue remedies in the courts of competent jurisdiction as described in Section 13.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the services are provided or accessed. Any disputes not resolved through informal means shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
If mandatory consumer protection or other local laws in your jurisdiction provide additional rights or protections, those apply where required by law. All legal proceedings shall be conducted in English unless otherwise required by law.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RedTulip regarding the Platform.
